ABOUT THE BAND
Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, the indie/folk/rock band’s music has been described as “intense, thoughtful songcraft”* with “lyrics so vivid you can practically touch them, (Chris Haise) is among the finer storytellers”**.
Members Chris Haise (Vox/Piano/Guitar), Mark Harrig (guitar/vox), Chris Dickerson (bass), Tony Sturino (cello/vox), & Chad Burgess (drums) became multiple award nominees on the steps of their first full band album "Suburban View" released in 2019.
In 2020, the singer song-writer released a solo record during the pandemic lockdown called "The Quarantine Tapes" while at the same time recording the 2021 studio release "Half Of All Of Nothing" as Haise’s exploration of navigating through the uncertainty of the modern world.
Chris Haise Band announced the release of their 4th studio album "Future, Future, Who Am I?" released May 2022. "Future, Future, Who Am I?" highlights the band’s contagious hook-filled melodies while keeping true to Haise’s Dylan-esque vocals. With pop undertones and a more indie rock feel than their previous releases, it spotlights their musicianship, vocal harmonies, and cello-laced compositions that will get stuck in your head for days.
Chris Haise Band is set to release their highly anticipated 5th album, "Busy People," on June 11th, 2024. With a blend of rock, folk, and bluegrass influences, the album offers listeners a rich exploration of personal and societal themes, delivered through introspective lyrics and emotionally resonant melodies.
"Busy People" delves into the complexities of modern life, navigating through a myriad of emotions, inspirations, and existential questions. Standout tracks include "Medusa," "Who Framed Mother Goose," and "Bric-A-Brac," each offering a unique perspective on the human experience.
To celebrate the release of "Busy People," Chris Haise Band will be performing live at Chill on the Hill in Bayview, WI on June 11th, 2024. Fans can expect an electrifying performance showcasing the depth and diversity of the album's tracks.
